Sent to East Riding of Yorkshire Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1051851.
I took a walk down Crowcroft Lane in Pollington this morning and it looks like a madman has been let loose with a chain saw. Large branches have been ripped from the trees and left strewn across the road and there are sharp thorns scattered all over. It will be difficult for cars to get by and nigh on impossible for cyclists to avoid the obstacles which is a unfortunate seeing as this is part of a major cycle route. The enclosed photo doesn't properly demonstrate the damage but it is pure vandalism. I understand that a local farmer is responsible but whether he had authorisation or not I don't no. The hedgerows and trees need to be kept in some sort of order but this should be done in sympathy with the nesting birds and wildlife. And the mess needs to be removed so as not to pose a danger to users of the road. This, I believe, should be the responsibility of ERC and the work carried out by an accredited workforce.

As far as I can see no one has attempted to fix the problem. This is the first contact I have had from the council regarding the damage

Not sorted - the debris from the designated trees has been left to blow around in the wind. Why have a web site such as this if no one makes any attempt to even try and address the problem. A complete waste of tax payers money
