Vehicles parking right up to junction. Dangerous hazard.

Reported in the Car parking category anonymously at 16:32, Thu 8 June 2017

Sent to Mole Valley District Council 4 minutes later

Vehicles are consistently parking right up to edge of the T-junction between Buckingham Road and Warwick Road, and leaving vehicles parked across the dropped kerbs, used for pedestrian right of way. Not only does this cause inconvenience for pedestrians, especially those with pushchairs and wheelchairs, but vehicles parked on the junction make visibility very poor for other traffic, and cause oncoming vehicles to come into conflict with one another on a regular basis. It also makes ingress/egress from one road to another very difficult for any larger goods vehicles or potential emergency services.

Painting of double yellow lines to discourage parking on the junction would be recommended, as has recently been carried out on the junction with Warwick Road and Norfolk Road.
