Sent to Wirral Borough Council 3 minutes later

The lamp has been reported to councillors and directly to the council on a number of occasions over an approximate period of 18 months. It has no lamp, no cover and the base is infested with ants. On the occasions it was reported on line to the council, the fault reports have been removed each time after approximately 3 months.

  • I have now reported the fault 4 times and Wirral Council have done nothing, that I am aware of, apart from removing the fault report from its on line reporting system every three months, or so. I have also e-mailed one of my local councillors twice and received no reply to either the original message or the reminder. A neighbour has also reported the fault to councillors on a number of occasions, without result.

  • I would love to be able to tell you but, unfortunately, I can't. It is now 13 months since I first reported the problem and the only thing the Council has done was to periodically remove the fault report from the on-line reporting facility. Bring on the revolution! That's wot I say!
