Branches of Sycamore trees too overhanging into road

Reported in the Trees category anonymously at 17:18, Tue 6 June 2017

Sent to Broxtowe Borough Council 2 minutes later

There are 10 sycamore trees in total on Jubilee Park which are so established now, some of the branches over hang half the road, which is a worry in high winds as this is a busy road, with residents also parking directly opposite. Also they are so tall now, they are stopping natural light to the cottages opposite. Today for example there are small branches and twigs all over the road due to the winds, it is a matter of time, before a larger branch breaks off potentially causing a hazard in the road or damage or an accident. Lastly the enormous tree at 116 church street is 3/4 of the way over the road and about to touch the others. Could the council possibly get some of these cut back a little and thinned out so more light is let through. We shouldn't remove the trees as this isn't the right thing to do. Thanks ! !
