Range of potholes, road gullys and uneven road surface on Barton Village Road
Reported in the Pothole category by Dan Gee at 14:46, Wed 31 May 2017
Sent to Oxford City Council and Oxfordshire County Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1045976.
The length of Barton Village Road to the penultimate bend before the bottom. Road surface repaired around a year ago - excessive bus traffic is wearing away the surface again. Pothole have reappeared and the road is rutted and not smooth. It needs repairing again since the bus companies run almost empty buses throughout the estate every 5 minutes.
Council ref: 1045976

Although some remedial work was carried out and Northway improved, Barton Village Road still has serious ruts and potholes, most seriously before the penultimate bend half way down. This is in large part due to the EXCESSIVE BUS TRAFFIC with half-empty buses all day long. Barton is over-served by buses and these are killing the roads.
