Rubbish dumped in bushes - smells like may be a dead animal

Reported in the Rubbish (refuse and recycling) category by Catherine Smith at 12:41, Tue 30 May 2017 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich 4 minutes later

Rubbish dumped in bushes next to boundary wall on the left at the beginning of the footpath towards the footbridge over the A2 at the end of Wricklemarsh Road. There only seem to be a few bags but there is a really horrible smell and I'm worried that the bags might contain some kind of rotting organic material - like meat or even a dead animal. I noticed the smell on Sunday evening and when I looked into the bushes, saw the bags of rubbish. The bags and smell are still there now (I had waited until today to report it as tried to ring customer services but very busy).
