Ongoing problem with HGVs parking in such a way that it is dangerous to drive in/out of road and car parks
Reported in the Car parking category anonymously at 12:00, Tue 23 May 2017 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to North Warwickshire Borough Council and Warwickshire County Council 5 minutes later
There are 2 new organisations now on this stretch of road, The Works and Sertec as well as existing sites of Arvato and Yearsley. HGVs are parking dangerously throughout the day restricting clear access to car parks and resulting in frequent near misses. HGVs and box cans have parked on the corner immediately in front of our site access meaning that drivers have no visibility when trying to manoeuvre onto their side of the road. It is only a matter of time before a RTA occurs and we'd like to see the road marked up with suitable lines to ensure that our staff are not at risk.

Have been advised that the council will not take steps to rectify this issue, any issues need to be raised with the police

Continues to be an issue even though our neighbours have introduced yellow cones. Only a matter of time before we are faced with an incident

Continues to remain an issue, so many near misses now that it's only a matter of time before something worse occurs

This is going to continue to be overlooked until a serious accident occurs. The issues with parking across the entire estate needs to be addressed!

This problem is not closed. There are daily near misses on this road, local businesses have taken it open themselves to put cones up when what is needed is double yellow lines to make the area safer, but lorries are crushing these, parking unsafely, and causing numerous near misses several times a day.
