Communal rubbish bins

Reported in the Rubbish (refuse and recycling) category anonymously at 17:58, Sun 21 May 2017

Sent to Newcastle upon Tyne City Council 3 minutes later

When I lifted the lid up to put rubbish in the bin, it rolled towards me, , it is no longer on the path, but on the road. There is no way I can lift it up onto the kerb.

This is one of the large bins that are a blight on the back lanes of Newcastle, they were not wanted, are dangerous, extremely heavy, difficult to put rubbish in as they are so heavy when lifting the lid, too high, and used for any type of rubbish, including furniture.

This is dangerous, it was not secure, and could of caused an injury, and could very possibly still do so, as it is not secure.
