Incorrect signage on cycle/footpath

Sent to Edinburgh City Council 3 minutes later

Near the larger of two newly installed playground areas (approx April 2017), a path connecting Magdalene with the shared use cycle/footpath parallel to the Niddrie Burn which runs past the playgrounds has recently had an incorrect sign painted on it. Blue signs direct cyclists from Milton Road through Magdalene, and from Magdalene Gardens, a blue cycle/footpath sign directs cyclists down a link path towards the main cycle/footpath past the play areas. A cycle sign is faintly visible on this path, so there is no indication to cyclists that this is not a cycle path. However right at the end of this path as it joins the main path, cyclists are met with a 'No Cycling' sign, which needs to be rectified- where should cyclists not cycle if directed down this path? This problem is similar to a recently reported and fixed problem nearby on the shared use path from The Jewel/Asda to the underpass going beneath the A1 towards The Range.
