Parking restrictions are not being adhered to causing a danger

Reported in the Car parking category by Jennifer Pomfret at 11:18, Tuesday 16 May 2017

Sent to Sefton Borough Council 2 minutes later

Parking is not allowed on this street, leading up to the Infants and Junior Schools of Farnborough Road, except for residents who must display a valid parking permit on their cars. This is repeatedly being abused by parents who continue to drive and park on this street in order to drop their children off at school. They are performing 3 point turns in the road and very recently a child was nearly hit by someone who wasn't even aware they had come close to hitting a child. This situation is becoming worse, despite the schools best efforts to rectify the situation and it is increasingly dangerous! This issue has been going on for some time now and there really needs to be some enforcement in place, like fines, to discourage people from continuing to park there.
