Cars parked on both corners of Warwick Avenue and Salisbury Avenue.
Reported in the Car parking category anonymously at 12:13, Mon 15 May 2017
Sent to Slough Borough Council 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1037534.
Cars are parking right on this junction, which causes cars exiting Warwick Avenue into Salisbury Avenue, either way, to have to pull out into Salisbury Avenue before they can see if any vehicles are coming along Salisbury Avenue. There have been a number of near misses, but so far no accidents. Can Double Yellow lines be put on these corners before there is an accident. I am submitting this request as Lead Co-ordinator of Surrey Avenue Neighbourhood Watch, which also includes this area.

Up to now, no-one seems to be bothered at the Council, until such time that someone is injured or killed. We want double yellow lines there before there is a tragedy. Lets have some urgent action NOW, please.

It appears that no-one at Slough Council is bothered. If someone is hurt as a result of an accident, I will make sure it gets full coverage in the local papers. We elect Councillors to look after our best interests, which we pay them to do via our Council Tax. Four months is a long time for NO ACTION !!

No one at Slough Council seems to be interested in this problem. An email to a Farnham Ward councillor has been totally ignored. It makes me wonder why we pay Council Tax, and elect local councillors ! If this is not being sent to the Council, what is the point of having a Fix My Street Questionaire. Perhaps a reply to these comments could come from somebody. It is almost 6 months since I requested double yellow lines at this junction !!
