Cycle path not fit for purpose

Reported anonymously at 14:38, Sat 13 May 2017

Sent to Southwark Borough Council 2 minutes later

The entrance to Burgess Park (from New Church Road) is not fit for purpose and occasionally dangerous for the following reasons: the scrapyard located at the park entrance repeatedly blocks access to the park with its trucks; the remnant of a sawn-off metal bollard protrudes from the road at the access point to the park (between the vehicle access gates) which is likely to either damage a bike wheel or cause harm to a cyclist; New Church Road is being used increasingly by film location crews whose trucks and personnel block the route for cyclists.
