Uneven surface of pavement

Reported in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 16:41, Wednesday 10 May 2017

Sent to Aberdeenshire Council 4 minutes later

The pavement on the road up towards the school is very uneven. In places it is essentially like two separate strips. Given that this is a very narrow and busy pavement passage is difficult enough without this additional hazard. My child has fallen several times en route to nursery due to this uneven surface and I have noticed other young children, particularly those on scooters and bikes (which are encouraged to get our children to school actively) struggling with the surface. Furthermore, there is also a small hole in the pavement just before the school entrance, where the pavement meets the bank, big enough to catch your foot in or in the case of pre school children your whole leg, which is unsafe.
