Fixed
Loose manhole cover in middle of road
Reported in the Roads/highways category by David Jackson at 07:13, Fri 5 May 2017
Sent to Sefton Borough Council 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1032410.
In the cebtre of the road close to the unused gate in Marine Garden railings. The manhole shown is rocking, so every time a vehicle drives over it there is a series of loud clangs. It may be as simple as a small stone under one corner, or it might be starting to break. The noise is extrtemely annoying during the two rush hours (this road is a rat-run) but from a safety point of view there is a danger that the constant stressing will cause the lid to fracture.

17th September 2017 - I'm sorry, but this man hole cover has STILL not been fixed. The white paint did nothing, and it is still clanking loudly every time a car drives over it.
