Callans Lane before and around the narrow bend travelling east into the village is littered with potholes and the road edge has collapsed in several places.. Additionally the grass verge has been seriously damaged by vehicles.

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council and South Kesteven District Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 1032379.
Much of the damage has been caused by vehicles that are too heavy for the road, many of which travel too fast and without sufficient care. I was walking along the lane early this evening. A vehicle came towards me and I stepped off the road onto the verge to let it pass. After it had passed I went to step back onto the road. As I did so the surface of the verge gave way and I fell headlong into the road. It could have been a serious accident. Lincolnshire County Council is too complacent in its management of the county's roads. Potholes, ruts and uneven surfaces remain unrepaired for months and often when repairs are carried out they are inadequate and the problem reoccurs. Roads and footpaths are often dangerous for pedestrians to use and are becoming increasingly dangerous for drivers.

Not fixed 5 months later. I doubt it's even been inspected and the road condition is worse. These lanes were not built for heavy vehicles, a weight limit would help.
