30 mtrs of atrocious potholed road surfice.

Reported in the Potholes category by Michael Jay at 15:14, Wednesday 3 May 2017

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 1 minute later

For a distance of approx 30mtrs the road surface on one side is atrocious and makes for very dangerous cycling having to travel on the wrong side of the road to avoid the potholes. I witnessed an elder gentleman the other day on a mobility scooter having to travel on the wrong side of the road, I dread to think of the outcome of an accident. This has a blind bend at the top so could result in a serious accident if a vehicle is coming in the opposite direction at speed, which they do. This has been in this condition for many months.

  • Had a consultation with a council representative. Seems it may take 10 years to get our village roads fully repaired. Unacceptable!
