Anyone arriving in Stalham get an immediate impression of care and delightfully pretty country town. This is due to both the natural beauty of the wild flowers as well as the care provided for a number of cultivated areas. This represents Stalham at its best.
Sadly, however, when these people start walking - especially around some of the back roads - like Mill Road, they are more likely to come across litter, empty drink cans and dog mess carefully collected in little plastic bags thrown into the hedges. Why anyone's level of intelligence would lead them to think that putting dog mess into a bag, hanging it on a tree so that potentially it could be there for a very long time I cannot understand. Just take it home or put it in a bin. This is marked on the map as a particular place in Mill Road. But these disgusting exhibits, of Stalham at its worst, can, of course, appear almost anywhere where no one is likely to see the person doing it. I have no idea what the solution is but it needs to be dealt with. Two or three very hefty fines would be good though!
