Several inches of leaf litter

Reported in the Street cleaning category anonymously at 16:57, Mon 24 April 2017

Sent to Rushmoor Borough Council 2 minutes later

Sir, The footpath outside of 231 North Lane has not been cleared for several years. The wind blows leaf litter into the wall. On Sunday an OAP slipped on the leaf litter. I have removed the litter to to grass verge (it was several inches deep and composting). Can the council please remove this rotting leaf litter before if blows back onto the footpath and causes a potential nuisance, and can the council esnure that during street cleaning, the footpath is kept clear? Thanks.

Updates

  • Council have done nothing. The pile of compost is still there on the grass verge. I suppose it will eventually rot: but can the council ensure that the path is kept clear so that this issue does not arise again?
