Sent to Bromley Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1026029.

Very poor - council appear to have failed to follow this issue up and the is therefore a serious risk of RTA. Young couple were seen cutting back a little of hedge on Sat. 20 May using SCISSORS! This problem requires a minimum of 750mm cut back of thick hedge to vertically align with boundary. This will then enable a proper sighting distance as used to be available. On refering back this location has been a problem reported by others each year since 2015.

This problem was reported many many times and still poor visibility (dangerous), it says bushes need to be cut back in line with low wall, low wall is low for a reason, over the years bushes have been grown behind low wall, house was designed with low wall for a reason, otherwise house wall would be on edge of property not low wall, so many near misses daily there, as traffic turning has no visability of oncoming traffic and on coming traffic has no visability of people turning out of turning, I suggest bushes done away with to allow clear vision. Like house originally was

After 28 days nothing has been done - it has got worse after vegetation has grown. Spoke to resident to ask them to cut back - basically told non of my business clear off. Total disregard by resident of others and council. Suggests Council acts with enforcement notice ASAP before serious accident happens.

Well over 28 days still over grown, like with a few property's along that road where hedges are taking over public footpaths, this particular situation is dangerous and report going back to 2015. I think time council need to start cutting back hedges themselves and charging to take back our public footpaths

13th July INCORRECT STATEMENT BY BROMLEY COUNCIL. Vegetation has NOT REPEAT NOT been cut back and represents hazard despite council stating residents given 28 days notice. What is the point of Fix My Street if Council FAIL to act on reports.

The vegetation has not been cut back and therefore still constitutes a high risk of a road traffic accident. the footpath is also obstructed particularly between no 1 & 3 sefton road. would the council like me to hire a tractor mounted flail and solve problem within minutes (obviously at the taxpayers expense)

Try turning right out of Sefton Road in a car NOT a 4x4 or IVerde Van! We will wait for a fatal accident and then someone in Bromley Council will be answering an involuntary manslaughter charge. The boundary foliage still overhangs the public pavement by approx 1000mm (3ft). If Bromley Council fail to act on reports what is the point of the public using the system?

The site inspection on 20th July was made by your contractor Idverde at the wrong location. The inspection (made at 14:00 approx) was on the corner of Sefton Close/Sefton Road outside No. 1 Sefton Close not on the corner of Sherborne Road/Sefton Close outside No. 1 Sefton ROAD. Please, Please, please send a competant contractor out to finally resolve this long outstanding issue.
