Bags of dog dirt tied to the bridge and railings

Not reported to council

I counted 20 bags of dog mess tied to the bridge over the dyke opposite the alley way through to Seabank Road and on the newly erected railings at the end of the alley way. I have reported this before and was told you had no plans to put a dog waste bin there. Clearly this is a huge problem - I have seen in excess of 50 there at some times. Dog walkers come through the alley from Seabank go over the bridge walk their dog around waterside sheltered housing complex and go back through the alley. At no point do they pass a dog waste bin - these are situated at either end of the cycle path at Losinga Road and Columbia Way. Please, please, please can you address this problem and put a bin there. People are taking the trouble to pick up their dog waste but have nowhere to put it on the way back. It's so simple to solve this and it is a dreadful eyesore and in hot weather a foul smelling problem. There is also the fact that someone has to go and remove the bags periodically - please put a dog waste bin there - problem solved!
