Poor response. The council doesn't want to replace the slabs in case someone else may like to dig there!

I was ignored. The original slabs have still not been replaced and the council representative said the tarmac patches must stay there in case someone else wants to dig a hole!

The council has ignored my observations. In fact, their contractors are destroying even more pavement slabs and replacing them with tarmac. I am therefore giving up. It appears the city highways department like destroying good pavements and even inlaid brass signs.
