The council send a team to clear the rubbish as reported, but the a week later its just as bad as before. this is due to the bags being opened by vermin and large scavenging crows and magpies. the weekly binman will not pick up such opened bags and spilt waste. so the problem is ongoing. If the residents had access to storage bins for waste rather than thin poly bags the problem should be minimised.

This disgusting mess is still everywhere in the dustbin area. Dirty nappies, food waste and general litter. These residents step over this filth every day. Some of them have children. They seldom put their bins out on the right day. It's sheer laziness and lack of general hygiene.

These images taken on Monday 26 June 2017, at 4pm. The refuse collection for rest of cul de sac had taken place by 10am today. Clearly there is a problem with refuse collection at this block of 6 flats as it is not being done regularly. The bins provided for the amount of tenants housed is obviously inadequate.

There is also a fire risk from this pile of cardboard and general household waste. We had a fire at these flats some years ago when someone set fire to rubbish under the flats. I cannot believe that the residents are oblivious to the filthy state of their environment.

Slow and painfull dealings with SBC. However after several visits from local councillors and various representatives of the refuse dept a short term fix seems to be working. We look forward to the proposed long term solution to the problem.
