Pavement along A40905 North Leigh to Witney is narrowed by grass encroaching on the pathway
Reported via desktop in the Footways and Pavement damage category anonymously at 15:34, Saturday 3 October 2026
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 10188056.
Over time, the usable pavement from North Leigh to Witney has been narrowed by around a meter in places as soil and grass encroaches on the pathway. The vegetation is establishing itself on top of the tarmac and will continue to spread and reduce the available space for pedestrians and cyclists until it is cut back to uncover the original surface. The whole distance between North Leigh and Witney is affected to varying degrees. Selected photos attached.
