Hi I reported this abandoned vehicle on the 21 July( it had already been dumped for approx 6 weeks by then). It has not moved a millimetre since then, not a single millimetre. It’s a blight on the street. Neighbours think it’s our car and we’re just not looking after it. This if embarrassing for us, for the neighbourhood and quite frankly ridiculous that nothing can be done about it because it is legally dumped.

Updates

  • State changed to: Investigating

Updated by Buckinghamshire Council at 11:35, Saturday 3 October 2026

  • Following an initial assessment, the vehicle is taxed or holding a valid MOT. Vehicles which are taxed, have an MOT, are insured, or otherwise appear maintained and in use cannot be treated as abandoned and fall outside the scope of enforcement action.

No further action will be taken and the case is now closed. Should the vehicle’s condition change or new evidence arise indicating it meets abandonment thresholds, please submit a new report.
