Unsafe road due to speeding cars
Reported in the General Highways Enquiry category anonymously at 12:21, Fri 31 March 2017

Please can traffic calming (like speed bumps, or closing one end of the road) be installed on Timsbury Road to curb the number of speeding cars that travel up the street. The road is home to a number of families and is now used as a drop-off point for parents to take their kids to the nearby school. It's a huge safety concern as cars regularly race up the street at speeds in excess of 40mph. A few months ago a car was written off after speeding around the corner and losing control. It's a 20mph road! People are also ignoring the one-way system and travelling down the street the wrong way. During building works on the school, the entrance to Timsbury Road was closed for a short period and it was so much quieter, safer and proved how many people use the street as a rat-run to get onto Glyn Vale. Please help, this has been getting worse over the past year.
