Massive potholes. Road is a total mess

Reported in the Potholes category anonymously at 10:44, Thu 30 March 2017

Sent to Aberdeen City Council 1 minute later

The upper section of old ferry road (from its junction with north deeside road down to the Newton Dee store) is still a total mess after years of neglect by the roads department at aberdeen city council.

It needs a proper draining solution for all the flood water which pours down the road when it rains.

Then the road needs laying correctly. At present the tar is laid on top of loose stones!!!

  • Some of the pot holes have been filled, but in the long term there is no adequate drainage solution for this road and so it will be trashed again when the torrential rain commences again.
