Drain gulley in footpath blocked.

Reported in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 17:18, Wednesday 22 March 2017

Sent to Norfolk County Council 2 minutes later

The drainage gully outside Horseshoes adjacent to the verge, and close to Jasmine House, is blocked and floods the footpath during rain. As this path is well used by people going to and from the bustop, including wheelchair users, it should be cleaned out, checked for any collapse problems urgently. (The path adjacent to this gully was recently dug up and and repaired by the utilities and this may have contributed to the problem.)

  • Wonderful! I saw a gully cleaning team along the road, and they agreed to look at the offending gully. They cleaned it out, and the lateral, and also two others nearby!! During that time they found a break in the cross-road pipe which has been scheduled for repair. Fantastic service, thank you to Noroflk CC Highways!
