Reported in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 17:12, Wed 22 March 2017

Sent to Norfolk County Council 2 minutes later

There a several long and deep fissures in Lynn Road at the junction with School Raod, and severe cracking across the road at this point. Additionally the road surface is severeley degraded for 200 meters in each direction along Lyynn Road due to spalling of granite chippings. this had lead to a significant increase in raod noise, and resultant noise pollution to households along this stretch of the road. The surface requires stripping off and relaying with smooth asphalt to improve noise and drainage properties and improve householders lives.

  • Remains outstanding, but as long as the road is repaired AND they use smooth, quieter asphalt, then a few weeks more is not an issue.
