Very dangerous emerging from roundabout to Hotwell Road

Reported via desktop in the Shrub/Rose maintenance category anonymously at 16:27, Tuesday 8 September 2026 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 10068939.

Could it be arranged as a matter of urgency that the heavily overgrown shrubs be cut back as per the height and area as shown in the attached image (on both sides of the Hotwells Gyratory) as there are now severe visibility problems with drivers (especially in lower cars) coming from the roundabout not being able to see fast-approaching traffic coming along the Hotwell Road, especially in the lanes closer to the roundabout, where they tend to be faster anyway. There have been incidents involving cars and cyclists at the junction because of the obscured views. I am concerned for the safety of the cyclists on their commutes, as in the past a number have been knocked off their bikes by suddenly-swerving traffic trying to avoid a collision.
