Entire Gloucester Road needs resurfacing not just patchwork that keeps crumbling!!

Reported in the Potholes category by Wendy R at 14:57, Mon 20 March 2017

Sent to Gloucestershire County Council 3 minutes later

Have been complaining about the potholes for almost 12 months and still no improvement. Local reps state no money in the budget yet are resurfacing other roads in a better state of repair!!

  • The road continues to break up. Patches are filled only to sink or crumble again. Uneven surface is uncomfortable to drive on and causes heavy hgv traffic to be noisier than it should be. On top of that speeding traffic adds to the issues!

  • No resurfacing has taken place. Patchwork has deteriorated. Road is getting worse. Noise pollution from speeding lorries is increasing. Shocking state of the roads around Gloucestershire! Very annoyed! Haven't even gritted even though snow was forecast!

  • As usual just shoddy patchwork done which is now crumbling away. Some drain covers are now very dangerous with coil springs and lorry straps all over the road probably damaging vehicles due to the poor road surface. Still no further forward with a poor state of the entire road and most traffic still breaking the speed limit! Terrible service by Gloucestershire Council!!

  • Gloucestershire are very shoddy with their road repairs and the state of the roads are shocking. Potholes everywhere and dangerous driving conditions. Speed limits are not adhered to by HGVs which further the damage to the roads.

  • A group of 'workers' arrived about a week ago, disrupted the traffic and threw some tarmac in two potholes. It hasn't fixed the issue and the rest of the road is crumbling away. Its just a joke!

  • Again, further holes appearing in the patchwork road. Clear signs of poor road surfacing all over the pavement with gravel everywhere, broken suspension springs and break pads strewn everywhere! Shameful!
