Mountain of rubbish at rear of Williamson Court Townhouses on Smithdown Lane L7
Reported via iOS in the Rubbish (refuse and recycling) category by James Biggs at 10:59, Monday 7 September 2026
Sent to Liverpool City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 10060928.
I've messaged them via their website and had no response. I've rang their number and it doesn't connect. I've spoke to residents who have also reported it. It has been there for at least a month. It is directly in front of The Williamson Tunnels Heritage Centre.

Good Morning,
Thank you for your e-mail.
Unfortunately, I cannot help you with this matter because it is not something Liverpool City Council would deal with.
Kind regards
Liverpool City Council

Hello,
I work for LCC as a barrow-walker and have to clear the litter that makes its way from this pile onto the street.
On a daily basis I clear up after private landlord's bins that are a mess. The public should not have to suffer this litter, nor the increase in rats it results in.
It is incredibly difficult to contact these landlords. I have tried, and am still trying. It is highly discouraging to repeatedly hear from Liverpool City Council that you are unwilling to help with these problems.
Cheers, James Biggs
