Abandoned Bicycle
Reported anonymously at 16:03, Sun 19 March 2017
Sent to Ealing Borough Council 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1005878.
A bicycle has been left at the bike stand for over 3 months. It is rusty, bent back wheel and clearly abandoned. Not only does it take up valuable bike parking space, but it is unsightly too.
The bike stands are outside the barber's shop where the two roads intersect.

As you can tell, I used FIxMyStreet to report the problem since their app did not work. I also called customer services. Failed failed failed.

Useless Ealing Council fixated on cleaner streets can't remove an abandoned bicycle. Probably because they are worried to cut the lock, but if that's the reason then they should email me to keep me up to date.

It only got removed because the council leader, Julian Bell, intervened - and in his own words "made it happen". Thank you Julian.
