Reported via Android in the Street lighting category by Zeya Ahmed at 00:32, Sunday 19 March 2017

Sent to Gloucestershire County Council 3 minutes later

3 street lights are not functioning since recent works in the area. All 3 are in a line. This covers the main taxi rank in Gloucester and good lighting is necessary for drivers and customers to feel safe.

  • Eventually received a reply. Told me there is a cable fault. Not given any time frame for repairs. Got the impression they do not really care.

  • Hi. Such cable repairs are undertaken by Western Power Distribution and GCC have no control over when they complete their work. These light will be in the queue and suddenly, one day, they'll be working.
