Very dangerous and misleading signs

Reported via mobile in the Incorrect category anonymously at 19:44, Thursday 3 September 2026 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 10046411.

Heading west on Cumberland Road at Gaol Ferry Bridge, there is a 'give way to oncoming traffic' sign, but as you can see from the photo, another sign is obscuring it. This causes westbound traffic to continue in the face of oncoming traffic. I have seen this twice today, once involving a bicycle. The whole area is badly signed as the traffic light sign is now unnecessary and the roadworks sign is completely obvious anyway.
