Cracks in the road surface on newly laid road surface

Serious large cracks have appeared in the road surface along a length of Newnham Road. It was reported to Highways who forwarded the issue to Network Rail. I happened to be walking along when NR were surveying. They said it was a highways issue. And suggested I report it again.
