Almost no road markings plus a long trench down the centre of the road

Reported via desktop in the Other Road Issues category anonymously at 09:28, Thursday 3 September 2026

Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 10042481.

I reported these road safety issues in February. HCC decreed no further action was necessary. Coming from the traffic lights towards the Sheep Roundabout, as two lanes go down to one, it is still difficult to gauge where the centre of the road is because the white lines have worn away. Thankfully the potholes all the way down the centre of the bend are there to tell you, even though they could throw a motorcycle into oncoming traffic.
