Tarmac eroding into road

The road has eroded a good 1-2 feet into road from my boundary and needs to be re tarmacked. Thames Water is coming around 4 October to reposition three boxes/lids which are currently on my drive back back onto road so I don’t know if tarmac should be done before or at same time?
