Along St Mary's church fens

Start of a new school term and again St. Mary’s Church has not been maintaining its trees and shrubs, which are overhanging and obstructing the pavement. The encroaching vegetation significantly restricts pedestrian access, particularly during peak school drop-off and collection periods for Isleworth and Syon School for Boys. This obstruction presents a clear health and safety hazard to members of the public, including children, who are forced to step onto the carriageway to pass safely. Several parents and carers have reported that their children have sustained minor head injuries as a result of these low-hanging branches.In light of these risks, I respectfully request that the responsible parties take immediate remedial action to ensure full and unobstructed access to the footway, in accordance with their duty of care under relevant health and safety and highways legislation. Also note the Church’s wood fens is broken and lening towards the public footpath. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I would be grateful for confirmation of the action to be taken. This makes it difficult to walk, particularly with a pushchair. This issue has been reported multiple times. How can the council ensure that the church fulfils its responsibilities to the general public and mitigates this ongoing nuisance?
