Numerous people parking on double yellow lines blocking pedestrians and other vehicles
Reported in the Council car parks category anonymously at 11:49, Mon 13 March 2017
Sent to Leicestershire County Council and Oadby and Wigston Borough Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 1001663.
People have a habit to keep parking on double yellow lines on frederick street. opposite the iceland car park and the side of greggs and rangemobile. sometimes for short periods of time and sometimes long. they keep blocking other cars that are using the road which is usually quite busy. and pedestrians also have a risk of being hit by drivers who mount the pavement and dont use their mirrors before doing so. two car parks are within a seconds distance yet some people still refuse to use them.

I have seen one law enforcement officer here since i've made the complaint. There are still many cars parking on double yellow lines without blue badges.
They block off the road and make it difficult for traffic to pass and completely block off my shop which makes it damn near impossible to attract trade. Very disappointed!

This car was parked here for 25mins. Double yellow lines, no badge, mounted on the pavement blocking pedestrians. Still nothing has been done to stop this from happening. Community support officer (a no authority being in the publics eyes) only visits on some days, and only in the afternoon.
WE NEED TRAFFIC WARDENS! SOMEONE WAS ALMOST HIT BY A STUPID VAN DRIVER! DOES IT REALLY HAVE TO GO THAT FAR BEFORE SOMETHING GETS DONE!!!
