New parking regime means people stop the car in the carriageway increasing congestion and is very dangerous (not too mention increases road rage). Very worrying

The change in parking has resulted in people stopping and waiting in the carriageway (not even to park but to wait for the shops). This means that (a) the road becomes more congested (b) it's dangerous as some people may not realise a car has stopped or they try panic and try to go into the right hand side lane and. (C) promotes road rage and aggressive behaviours from people who are forced to wait. I'd suggest either strict enforcement or proper signs to waiting areas.
