Dangerous Cycle Path

Reported anonymously at 13:16, Fri 10 March 2017

I am a cyclist around Andover with several thousand miles under my belt. I do not think the pavements on any stretch of Charlton Road are appropriate to be labeled as cycle paths. This is particularly apparent on the stretch of road opposite Heather Drove. One cyclist on their own fits the width of the pavement, and two trying to pass side by side is an accident waiting to happen. I always get off my bike and push here, but many just seem to cycle regardless of pedestrians, and its simply not wide enough. Indicating that the bikes should be allowed ample space on the road was always beneficial and should be emphasized.
