Dangerous Road

Reported anonymously at 11:28, Wed 8 February 2017

Hi, I visited Skelmsdale yesterday evening for the first time and during my journey back home to North Wales I had to join the M58 from the A557. The road I joined was in close proximity to Hope High School at junction 5 and can be described a large one way round about; as I was on this road I couldn't see the M58 as it was obscured by a grass mound and assumed I would be entering a slip road to join the M58 but it was in fact a give way junction and had to slam on before being hit by truck. This was a very frightening experience and strongly believe if there are no safety measures put in place then people will be seriously injured or loses their lives. There are no warning signs or lighting in place and really don't know why this has been approved as it's not safe and needs to be addressed immediately to maximise public safety.
