Cars park in a row by blind junction

Reported by Suzanne Crosby at 12:12, Mon 2 May 2016

Cars parked outside houses on the left hand side of road coming off island by junction into estate when parking bays are allocated at the rear. This means traffic has to go on the opposite side of the road for some distance when reaching an already blind junction, due to housing and driveways blocking the view until you reach the junction. When coming both in and out of the estate on a few occasions I've had a close encounter with other cars coming the other way. Due to parking in the area one or both cars then have to reverse which is what happened today. I could not reverse as there was a car behind me so the car in front had to into a tight spot (due to parked cars) to let me and car behind pass so he could then turn into junction to get off estate. I was going slow but still had to brake hard when faced with a car coming head on. This has been going on a few months since one of the houses on the left was sold and new people have moved in.
