Trees causing numerous problems year-in-year-out in Marlborough Road.

Reported anonymously at 15:39, Wed 3 February 2016

Ref: 402523 The overgrown trees and their large branches, in our street are causing structural damage to property, roads, footpath and vehicles. Furthermore they restrict adequate street lighting hence safety and security is compromised. The footpath surfaces are uneven around the trees and present a trip/fall hazard to the public. Additionally during Autumn, the fallen leaves create dangerous hazards and many falls and injuries have been reported. There has also been flooding at the ends of the street due to blocked drains as well. We appreciate that the trees are being pruned back at this moment in time, but this is a ongoing and recurring problem that persists year-in-year-out. All trees in our street need to be removed completely in order to solve these numerous recurring problems, once and for all.
