Bad bus service on a regular basis.

Reported anonymously at 18:57, Wed 9 December 2015

X39/X40 service of Thames travel services financially supported by county council doesn't care about passengers. The service is inadequate, inconsistent and inaccurate. As a regular passenger who gets the X40 bus from St.Aldgates stop H5, I can confidently say the bus never keeps time and keeps near to 50 passengers waiting about an hour.Today and previous week I waited from 5.22 pm to 6.12pm to get bus where time table showed bus at 5.20, 5.40 and 6.20pm. So 50 people are waiting at single stop in freezing cold for 55 minutes. And when less passengers are there, a double decker bus comes and when 50 people are there, single floor bus comes and half of them have to stand after all these waiting. I urge the council to kindly do a watch and survey with passengers at Stop H5 St.Aldgates at 5.40pm and find whether the problem persists. If at least 4 services are available at peak times with single floor bus, it may solve issues of passengers who travel between Oxford city center and Reading.
