Street Light has been hit by a vehicle and is leaning towards road

Reported by Mark Challis at 10:17, Thu 4 June 2015

On 03/06/15 at approx. 15:00 on Classic Drive on the Tesco access road adjacent to Decathlon and the new railway station, I witnessed an articulated wagon from Matthews Haulage (Reg; ED14 9FE) collide with an existing street lighting post whilst attempting a 360degree turn in the road. The wagon mounted the pavement and collided with the post causing the post to lean over the road and obviously not work. The wagon driver never got out of his cab, he continued his turn and then pulled up in the layby just down from the lighting column and had his break. When he finished his break, he drove off.
