Blocked drains and resulting road damage

Reported anonymously at 19:02, Fri 14 January 2022

FOI revealed your system currently only holds two outstanding (since March 2021, on a '7 days' response time) blocked ‘gulleys’ ie stanks on Dumbarton Rd at Whiteinch, from Haylynn St to Primrose St. In short, with no pro-active checking, all you have is what people can be bothered reporting. This is the reality today, however - these 8 of 24 blocked thus useless stanks in one short stretch of just one busy road in but one ward in Glasgow. Please note the deleterious effect these blockages thus flooding has had on the surrounding roads ie even more tax payer expense down the line. And that recent shoddy ‘repair’ to one damaged stank surround is rendered useless as you obviously have have still not cleared the stank that caused the flooding. Please get someone out to check, *in person*, ALL the gulleys on this stretch. 15 min. walk at most. Then deal with them for the first time in at least 5 years. Thanks.
