Syringes discarded by drug users in a spot where children watch trains

Reported anonymously at 16:34, Wed 13 October 2021

The spot is in Maryon Park, exactly on top of the rail tunnel where trains enter the hillside by the level crossing on Charlton Lane. At 2.45pm on 13 Oct I saw two men here, openly injecting drugs. Around 3.30pm I walked on this path through Maryon Park again - the two men were gone but they have left drugs ephemera including used needles scattered around this area above the tunnel entrance. This is a popular spot for small children to watch trains from above, especially during morning school/nursery run so the used syringes are a danger.
