Smorrall Lane - Bedworth - request to install bollards

Reported anonymously at 16:29, Wed 13 October 2021

Smorrall Lane Bedworth - From the junction of Anderton Road to OS 315 can I request that the local County Cllr looks into the request to install wooden bollards into the grass verge to stop vehicles parking here. Firstly, this is a safety concern with vehicles pulling out from the roundabout of Anderton Road. They are not able to see looking right towards Bedworth due to vehicles parking here, not only is this a very busy junction to pull out on due to the amount of traffic, but it makes it impossible to do safely. There have been numerous accidents over the last 12 months here due to sight lines not being observed and the vehicles pulling out and not seeing oncoming vehicles most recently with a police car. Secondly it is damaging the grass verge here not only making the grass verge unsightly in the winter and summer time, but it is impossible for the local borough council to cut the grass verge. It is also damaging the utility apparatus that are located in the grass verge.
