Problem parking

Reported anonymously at 21:16, Tue 2 October 2012

The section of Upper Boundstone Lane, North Lancing, that runs alongside the Esso petrol station between Manor Road and Meadowview Road, badly needs double yellow lines now that it has been re-surfaced. This short stretch is already a bottleneck, but it is being made much worse due to vans and cars parked on one side, effectively creating a single track section, meaning that traffic often has to queue back into Manor Road (in front of the Esso station), leaving road users vulnerable to collision from vehicles pulling off the nearby A27 Upper Brighton Road. This is also a thoroughfare for schoolchildren at peak times and make it difficult for them to cross this road safely. Many thanks.
